In April 1998, C. R. Rao will be our Distinguished Lukacs
Professor. Together with him we are organizing the Symposium "Statistics
for the 21st Century". The main idea is to emphasize the most important
open questions in statistics for future research based on the most important
existing directions and results of statistics and probability. The talks
are supposed to be understandable not only by researchers but also by graduate
students in statistics.
There is no registration fee or registration form, but we would appreciate
knowing who will attend. We ask that you email the following information
to the local organizer:
